josie was not only my mother she was also my best friend,After my dad died she stopped going out with friends, she had decided she could not live without my dad, this really hurt me as she was a very sociable person, she was soo good to me when my son ( jason ) WAS SMALL SHE USED TO LOOK AFTER HIM WHILE I WAS AT WORK AND TOOK HIM ON HOLIDAY EVERY YEAR 2 "GOOD TIMES". she then developed lung cancer which devastated us all, we all rallied round and tried to keep her spirits up, she fought for 4 years but the big c won at the finish, my wonderful beautiful mother lost her fight for life on my birthday 11th of jan 1988, i will always remember when me my neice and friend went to see her in the chapel of rest ( it was like the blind leading the blind ) we where all upset and holding on to each other , when i decided to look behind a curtain in thr room, when i pulled it back all we could see was loads of other coffins, as you can exspect this really freaked us out and we all headed for the door all at the sa
me time, i was in such a rush i caught the lid off the coffin and it hit the floor with a crash, and me my friend and neice where stuck in the door screaming and laughing all at the same time, i dont know what we thought was gonna happen, but we didnt give it a thought at the time, the guy in the funerale home didnt know what the hell was going on, three mad women screaming and crying at the same time , my mother would of loved this she would of said thats the price of you ya nosey sods, so even though it was a sad time i belive she tried to lighten the load on us and made us laugh, i will love and miss her for the rest of my life, she was a very speciale lady
